ASTM Stainless Steel Wire Rope 302 0.08mm Full Hard 3mm Steel Cable
1. Introduction
In the drawing process, the drawing stress σ1 is applied to the drawing force on the unit cross-sectional area of the drawn wire at the die opening. In order for the metal to undergo plastic deformation in the die hole, the drawing stress σ1 must be greater than the deformation resistance σT of the metal in the deformation zone in the die hole. In order to prevent the drawing process of the wire from being deformed and drawn out of the die hole and being drawn out or broken, the drawing stress σ1 must be less than the yield limit σs of the wire drawn out of the die hole. Therefore, the conditions of the drawing process are usually expressed as :σT< Sigma 1 & lt; Sigma s. The ratio K of is called the safety factor of the drawing process.
