1. Introduction
Stainless steel contains a large number of chromium, nickel, manganese, titanium and other alloy elements, so the thermal conductivity is poor. The higher the alloying element content, the worse the thermal conductivity. Below 800℃, its thermal conductivity is about 20% -- 50% lower than that of general carbon steel and alloy steel. Its thermal conductivity is similar to that of magnetic steel and alloy steel at high temperature. Heating temperature and speed should be strictly controlled.
